THE IRREGULAR TIMES
A PRINT-POWERED PORTAL FOR ART, ACTIVISM & IMAGINATION

Overview
The Irregular Times began as a provocation. What happens when art, activism, and editorial collide? The challenge was to make print feel urgent again, not nostalgic. It had to be tactile, chaotic, and alive.

Our approach
We rejected grids, templates, and house styles. Each page was treated as its own world, shaped by the story it carried. Typography shifted form. Layouts broke pattern. We used thread, collage, parchment, and protest as design tools. The result was messy by design. Personal by intent.
Issue 02
Landmarks and Landmines imagined speculative futures shaped by memory, grief, and resistance. We leaned into imperfection. Loud contrasts. Torn textures. Postmodern visuals with a handmade soul. The page became a site of friction.
Issue 03
TIT shifted the lens to womxn. Artists, caregivers, fighters, and ghosts. We designed each fold as an immersive space. Thread became type. Kerning became commentary. Every design choice came from the work itself, not outside it.
